In yet another controversy swirling around Democratic 2020 hopeful Joe Biden, new evidence has emerged that cops found a crack pipe in a rental car used by his son Hunter, yet failed to take action, a newly surfaced 2016 police report shows.
The report, obtained by Breitbart News, says Hunter Biden returned the rental car, with a cocaine smoking pipe left inside, to a branch of Hertz in Arizona just days before the 2016 presidential election.
Hunter, whose legal name is Robert Biden, also left a driver's license, a Delaware attorney general badge, credit cards, a cellphone, and a U.S. Secret Service business card inside the vehicle, according to the police report.
Biden had rented the car from Hertz in California and it was returned it after hours to a separate branch in Prescott, Ariz.
Cops noted that the car keys were oddly left in the car's gas tank compartment and not properly deposited in the overnight drop box as instructed.
In addition to “a small white and brown pipe approximately 3-4 inches long,” an officer also found “a small ziplock bag with a white powdery substance inside all sitting on the passenger seat.”

The police report says Hunter Biden was too 'sick' to know how to return the rental car
According to the Washington Examiner, a man who called himself "Joseph McGee" called Hertz the next morning to tell the company where the keys were left, saying “his friend was feeling sick so they didn’t know what to do.”
Fingerprints were not found on the pipe, which officials determined was used to smoke cocaine.
Unusually, authorities decided not to pursue the case after their initial attempts to contact the then-vice president's son.
Prescott Police Department officials say they were unable to reach Hunter Biden and, after an investigation, declined to prosecute.

Joe Biden's 2020 bid has been plagued with scandal since before it even started
It's not the first time Hunter Biden, now 49, has been linked to drugs.
Biden received a waiver for a "drug-related incident when he was a young man" to join the Navy Reserves in 2012, but tested positive for cocaine during a random drug test a month into his service and was discharged.
In 2017, his then-wife Kathleen stated in divorce papers he spent "extravagantly on his own interests (including drugs, alcohol, prostitutes, strip clubs, and gifts for women with whom he has sexual relations)."
Hunter Biden then began a relationship with his late brother Beau's widow, Hallie.
Former Vice President Joe Biden is the current front-runner in the 2020 Democratic presidential field.
His other son, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, died in 2015 from brain cancer, contributing to Biden's decision to not seek the presidency in the 2016
