Syrian War: How Defeat Of ISIS Changes Prospects Of Conflict

The liberation of al-Bukamal become another turning point marking the start of a new phase in the Syrian conflict. ISIS has lost all important cities, which it used to control in Syria, thus becoming just a terrorist group rather than a terrorist state.

The terrorist group still controls some villages in an area between al-Bukamal and Deir Ezzor, a part of the border between Syria and Iraq, a part of the Yarmouk Refugee Camp in Damascus and a chunk of territory near the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

Many ISIS members are now fleeing the country in an attempt to reach safe havens around the world. The remaining terrorists will be involved in a guerilla war against the Syrian government and US-backed forces.

Now, Syria could be divided into 7 sectors controlled by various parties:

  1. The Syrian government, backed by its allies – Iran, Hezbollah and Russia, controls the biggest part of the country, including the cities of Aleppo, Hama, Homs, Deir Ezzor, Damascus, Latakia, as-Suwayda and Tartus. However, the militant-held pockets inside the government-held area pose a significant security threat. The situation is especially complicated in Eastern Ghouta and the Yarmouk Refugee Camp. The pockets of Bayt Jinn, Jayrud and Rastan are relatively calm.
  2. The situation is complicated in Daraa where Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) and its allies are in control of a part of the provincial capital. The Russia-US de-escalation zone agreement in southern Syria allowed the intensity of fighting there to decrease. Despite this, clashes erupt from time to time in Daraa city and near the Golan Heights. Militants in southern Syria are mostly backed by Jordan, the US and Israel. Tel Aviv often uses tensions in the area to justify its strikes against Syrian forces and describes its support to local militants as a humanitarian assistance to the local population. It is interesting to note that Israel has no problems with the ISIS-linked Khalid ibn al-Walid Army, which operates near its forces. The so-called local armed opposition does not seek to fight ISIS there either.
  3. The at-Tanf area on the Syrian-Iraqi border is controlled by the US-led coalition and a few US-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) groups. FSA units are concentrated around the US garrison at at-Tanf and in the nearby refugee camp. The US says that it needs this garrison to fight ISIS while in fact it is just preventing Syria and Iraq from using the Damascus-Baghdad highway as a supply line. US forces respond with airstrikes and shelling to any Syrian Arab Army (SAA) attempts to reach at-Tanf.
  4. Northeastern Syria, including the cities of Raqqa, Tabqah, Hasakah and a part of Qamishli, is controlled by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Kurdish militias YPG and YPJ are a core of the SDF and the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) de-facto controls this area. A notable number of US military facilities and troops in this area are an important factor contributing to the SDF’s confidence. Some aggressive SDF statements against Damascus can serve as an illustration of this fact.
  5. Northwestern Syria is also controlled by the SDF. However, the US influence in this area is lower and local Kurdish militias maintain better military relations with the Syrian-Iranian-Russian alliance. They also face more pressure from Turkey and its proxies.
  6. Turkey and pro-Turkish militant groups control a chunk of the border area, including al-Bab, Azaz and Jarabulus, in northern Syria. Ankara has a strong position there and pro-Turkish militants have repeatedly clashed with SDF members near Tall Rifat.
  7. Turkish forces are also deployed at the contact line with the SDF in the province of Idlib. However, almost the entire province is still controlled by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). This means that Ankara and the terrorist group have reached a kind of agreement over the deployment of the Turkish troops. Ankara actively uses various militant groups to pressure Kurdish forces, which it sees a part of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK). The PKK operates in Turkey and northern Iraq and has been seeking for a long time to establish an independent Kurdish state there.

Clashes of various intensity between the SAA and HTS have been ongoing in northern and northeastern Hama since October. This clearly shows that the Idlib de-escalation agreement is not working and creates HTS positions in the area, which will be an obvious target for the expected SAA operation after ISIS is driven out from the rest of villages in the Euphrates Valley. According to pro-government sources, the SAA has already started redeploying elite units from Deir Ezzor to Hama.

Experts believe that the mid-term SAA goal there is to further expand buffer zone along the Ithriyah-Khanaser-Aleppo highway and to liberate Abu ad-Duhur. This will allow to shorten frontline and increase a concentration of troops and equipment on the contact line when the so-called opposition decides that it’s time to negotiate.

Another possible hot point is Daraa. Local militants will resume their military activity in the city if they see that their Idlib counterparts have become a target of a large-scale SAA operation.

Now, Russia, the US, Turkey, Iran and Syria are increasing their diplomatic activity in order to find a way, which could allow work to start on developing a final political settlement of the crisis. They all have objective limits to their influence on the ground and some contradictory goals. This complicates the situation, especially amid a lack of strategic vision from the US which, according even to American experts, has no long-term strategy for Syria. The US elites and their Israeli and Saudi counterparts are especially dissatisfied with the strengthened position of Hezbollah and Iran.

If the sides are not able to find common ground in the nearest future, the conflict may easily give rise to a new round of violence.

With Antifa Planning ‘All Out War’ On President Trump, Was ISIS Terror In New York The ‘Tip Of The Iceberg’? As Americans Hit The Panic Button, Realtor.com Foreshadows A Coming Apocalypse

With Tuesday’s ISIS terror attack in New York now on the minds of Americans and the world coming soon after it had been confirmed that members of ‘antifa’ met with ISIS in Europe at the G-20 meetings to plot the destruction of President Trump, we take a look within this story that the attacks yesterday may have just been the tip of the iceberg with antifa set to terrorize America beginning in just days.

As Jeremiah Johnson over at SHTFPlan recently reported, antifa’s objective is to “cause civil unrest and initiate rioting in many major American cities” and as we hear from Tucker Carlson in the first video below, every day we’re getting more and more indications that the left is pushing for an all-out war in America with their threats of making America ungovernable commencing on November 4th.

As we learn in this Daily Mail story, the name of Edward Klein’s forthcoming book is “All Out War: The Plot To Destroy Trump” within which we learn an FBI investigation discovered collusion between American anarchists and ISIS and Al-Qaeda with the FBI specifically warning ‘This is the greatest challenge to law enforcement since the Weather Underground and the Black Panther Party’. This KEY information was given as an indication of where this could be headed:

The foreign terrorists were helping them acquire the weapons they are seeking, primarily bomb-making equipment and toxic chemicals and gasses.

Will we soon witness antifa terrorists in the US, carrying out chemical or gas attacks upon innocent Americans?

We also take a look at this recent story over at Realtor.com saved on Archive.is titled “The Best and Worst Cities in America to Survive the Apocalypse”, within which they share with us not only the many reasons that Americans are now ‘hitting the panic button’ but some surprisingly good information, as if maybe some ‘Realtors’ are doing their homework.

Reporting nearly immediately that the location you call home could mean the difference between life and death in the face of utter disaster, they elaborate upon that later with “Surviving a disaster will often have more to do with where you are than with any other factor” according to Richard Duarte, a personal injury attorney based out of Miami and the author of the book “Surviving Doomsday.”

From Duarte.:

“Finding yourself in a highly populated urban center, competing with violent crowds for dwindling resources, will usually not end well. If the scarcity doesn’t get you, the resulting chaos certainly will.”

“On the other hand, being in a low-density rural location, with more abundant natural resources, and far fewer mouths to feed, will dramatically increase your chances of surviving the crisis.”

While that might sound like ‘Survival 101’ to many who perfectly understand ‘population density’ and the reason why the odds are ever more in our favor by getting as far away from the ‘rapidly growing more insane’ masses as possible, Realtor.com reaches a completely different audience than Steve Quayle or Mike Adams over at Natural News or MD Creekmore and his Survivalist Blog or Michael Snyder over at the Economic Collapse Blog or Mac Slavo and ‘Jeremiah Johnson’ over at SHTFPlan.  So the fact that their story is getting out to the unprepared masses, sharing good survival advice, could only be a good thing.

nuked_city_wd.jpg

While some might think that more people moving away from the cities into the country will provide more competition for resources in their own regions, the more people who are prepared to survive on their own without government assistance in a worst case scenario, the better. In fact if Americans expect the government to ‘save them’, they’ll be waiting a very long time. Though it’s great to finally have someone as head of FEMA in Brock Long who’s continually stressing self-sufficiency to Americans though as we see in recent comments of his republished below, he’s well aware that the huge majority of Americans have a very long way to go to be completely self-sufficient and therefore, less of a liability in the long run.

“I really think that we have a long way to go to create a true culture of preparedness within our citizenry in America. No American, no citizen, no visitor to this country is immune to disaster.

And we have a long way to go to get people to understand the hazards based on where they dwell, where they work, and how to be prepared financially, how to be prepared through insurance, how to have continuity of operations plans for their businesses, so that we can avoid the suffering, the strife, and the loss of life. It’s truly disappointing that people won’t heed the warnings.”

nuke_apocalypse_best_places.jpg

According to the story over at Realtor.com, between devastating hurricanes, Kim Jong Un and nuclear war threats, cyber attacks, mass shootings and everything else people can imagine, millions of Americans are at the end of their ropes, feeling  they’re living in ‘uneasy and queasy’ times. Their story then enters the ‘rabbit hole’ to those who haven’t yet thought about preparing for what may be coming.

Even to the most positive-minded among us, it sometimes seems the world is on the verge of collapse. So just in case civilization does indeed crumble, explode, or implode around you, it makes sense to have a plan. Where do you go to eke out survival?

America’s top cities are not terrific places to be during a nuclear attack—many of them are likely to be on the first-strike target list, especially hubs for government, finance, or corporate infrastructure, or cities that just may be internationally famous (for symbolic value). Military bases are also a great big bullseye. But hold on: The federal government also considers things like airfields, ports, refineries, and energy centers to be targets.

Worst cities to survive a nuclear apocalypse

People around the world hunger for a taste of the Big Apple, but if a nuke drops while you visit, it could be your last taste: New York leads the list of worst places in the United States to ride out an attack. Like most of America’s largest cities, NYC would be hit with a deadly double whammy: In addition to being a primary target, it has precious few natural resources to make post-blast survival possible. Unless you enjoy eating grilled subway rats?

Big cities usually have most of their goods (food, bottled water, medical supplies) shipped in. Once that stopped, panic would quickly set in. Even getting out of most urban areas, which rely on public transportation and are known for clogged roadways, could be near-impossible. That’s especially true for Miami, our fifth worst-ranked metro—as thousands of people learned while fleeing Hurricane Irma in September.

zombie_apocalypse.jpg

Sound first-step survival advice, imagine how many people who don’t normally follow survival websites are hearing about population density and supplies needing to be shipped into the cities for the first time. Will many learn and take positive action?

Their story also focuses on a potential viral outbreak of a deadly and fast spreading disease and while a very real ‘zombie apocalypse’ may not be in our futures (though the CDC and FEMA continually prepare for them!), as Susan Duclos reported on ANP back on October 26th, authorities now fear a fast-moving outbreak of ‘black death’ may be spreading quickly with the plague now airborne, warnings have spread to 9 different countries. And as Susan reported, there are fears that this deadly disease may be manmade as a plague researcher, who also happened to be a fetish murderer, had visited Madagascar prior to the start of the outbreak.

Much of the chaos and breakdown of society that we’d potentially face with a massive outbreak of the plague would also be a likely result should a ‘zombie apocalypse’ break out in America with people hoping to be as far away as possible from those who’ve already been infected. Such an outbreak would also rule out the big cities in America as a good survival location as they could instantly turn into massive ‘kill zones’ should an airborne variety of the black plague break out here in America.

DEAGEL_DIE_OFF_GOES_ON.gif

With Deagel.com STILL showing a massive depopulation event for America within the next 7 years with a forecast 54 million Americans to be living here in 2025, down from the 324 million living here in 2016, and all of the recent hints that we’ve been given of a huge event sometime ahead in our futures, we hope that all have prepared.

As we recently reported on ANP, with antifa threatening to make America ungovernable until President Trump and VP Pence are driven from office, there could be massive disruptions in the coming days and weeks. With the Department of Defense running a nationwide ‘power grid down’ drill on the same day as ‘antifa’s day of rage’ starts, we pray for President Trump and America.

Of course, all of the left’s plans to take down President Trump could quickly whittle away to absolutely nothing as those going beyond peaceful protesting by causing outright violence are locked up for terrorist acts against Americans.

In the 2nd video below from Infowars. we see yesterday’s full show in which we’re given massive evidence that the left won’t stop until they’ve started a war here in America while the 3rd video is just the segment on antifa ties to ISIS.

In the final video below, our videographer takes a look at the recent story from Realtor.com in which they shared their survival advice and the best and worst places to be in America during the apocalypse.

Nuclear War: Challenges with Livestock and Farm Animals

ReadyNutrition Readers, this piece is to provide some food for thought for livestock and animals you may have, and therefore would need to protect in the event of a nuclear war.  Forget about the “Troll Army” that will undoubtedly say that “the article is pointless,” or “we’re all doomed,” or “nuclear war isn’t real.”

Learn How Tactical Gas Masks Can Save Your Life

Everyone who has succeeded first heard a hundred who said they could not.

This piece is designed to give possible solutions to problems you may face with your livestock that may not have been considered.

Naysayers are just an addition to the problem, instead of being part of the solution.

That being said, let’s start out with an excerpt from the government regarding livestock and poultry, just to show the mindset you must contend with.  The source is PubMed, and here’s the link: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/3895719

Farm livestock show no measurable effects from being exposed to ionizing radiation unless the level is greatly in excess of the natural background radiation. Possible sources of ionizing radiation which might affect livestock or contribute to radioactivity in the food chain to humans are reactor accidents, fuel reprocessing plant accidents and thermonuclear explosions. Most data on ionizing radiation effects on livestock are from whole body gamma doses near the LD 50/60 level. However, grazing livestock would be subjected to added beta exposure from ingested and skin retained radioactive particles. Results of attempts to simulate exposure of the Hereford cattle at Alamogordo, NM show that cattle are more sensitive to ingested fallout radiation than other species. Poultry LD 50/60 for gamma exposure is about twice the level for mammals, and swine appear to have the most efficient repair system being able to withstand the most chronic gamma exposure. Productivity of most livestock surviving an LD 50/60 exposure is temporarily reduced and long-term effects are small. Livestock are good screeners against undesirables in our diet and with the exception of radioisotopes of iodine in milk, very little fission product radioactivity would be expected to be transferred through the food chain in livestock products for humans. Feeding of stored feed or moving livestock to uncontaminated pastures would be the best protective action to follow.

There you have it!  The livestock and poultry are “all safe,” unless radiation is higher than levels in nature!  They just “casually” mention that some things can cause it to be much higher, such as…oh, a “thermonuclear explosion!”

Yeah, that just might cause radiation levels to go up!  Brilliant!  Still, even with stultifying information such as this, you can pick out useful information.  Let’s go with some basics that reach beyond their wisdom:

Obviously, if you don’t have your livestock or poultry in a safe location prior to the conflict, or a residence outside of the radius of a large city, you’re in trouble there. You’re also not going to be able to transport them all to another location.  This stuff needs to be in place before any hostilities start.

Livestock faces the same challenges that we do…except they’re animals and not capable of detecting radiation. Here is what needs to be done:

  • Suitable shelter needs to be prepared for them with some type of air-filtration system and enclosed with heat
  • All food and water need to be pre-stored for them and protected from the radiation, as well. This is a true challenge because a correct estimate of consumption needs to be prepared.  They need at least one year’s supply of food and water and must remain indoors under protective shelter for at least one month until most of the radiation decays.
  • Decontamination: supplies need to be pre-positioned, and there is also manure/offal to be disposed of regularly…perhaps in a location that is also secured if you’re to turn it into compost.
  • Existing structures need to be modified: Most barns will (depending on the roof type) at the minimum protect from Alpha particles. The windows need to be closed off and sealed, and the challenge will be to provide air that is filtered and circulating in their living quarters.  Henhouses and chicken houses need to be assessed for the ability to keep fallout from reaching the poultry.
  • Minimum subsistence and breeding stock: Your biggest challenge will be to support the minimum amount of a population of livestock to be used for breeding to replenish the herds and flocks. Your hens will still lay eggs that can be used for food, and unexposed/safe cattle for milk (watching out for U-238 and Strontium-90 that can go into milk).  This is a long-term goal of protection for you to undertake for them.
  • Mines, caves, and other possible shelters: You could use these if nothing else, should you not have the type of protection available on your property. Just a suggestion, but the last resort.

“The Earth Still Turns,” meaning: you still have to take into consideration the seasons and all of the related problems with them, such as frozen drinking water and extreme cold with (grid down following EMP or war) no electric heat.

Geiger Counters and Dosimeters: to be used to monitor radiation for them.

If you haven’t already done so, I strongly recommend getting a copy of Cresson Kearney’s “Nuclear War Survival Skills.”  Even though this piece discusses livestock, the principles of a nuclear war and the scientific breakdown of shelter construction and radiation hazards still applies to them.  Most of the country still has some time before winter sets in to obtain extra supplies for the livestock and take extra measures to protect them.  It is better to do something than just sit around behind a keyboard and skeptically inform others of how nothing can be done.  It can be done: you are the ones who can do it if you resolve yourselves to take action.  JJ out!
