US Planes Stay on Ground as Syria and US Backed Kurds Fight

Reports coming out from Syria suggest that deadly clashes are ongoing between government troops and US-backed forces in the east of the country. The SDF is a group of Kurdish and Arab forces supported by the United States. It is in control of much of the territory east of the Euphrates River near the border with Iraq.
